What you'll do:
- Design and build services and subsystems end-to-end
- Architectural decisions: patterns, contracts, performance optimization
- Mentor middle developers
- Own code quality through reviews and technical strategy
- Work with observability and monitoring stack
- Coordinate across domain teams on cross-cutting concerns
What we expect:
- 4+ years commercial experience with TypeScript + Node.js
- Microservices design experience (gRPC, event-driven patterns)
- Deep React + Next.js knowledge
- Advanced PostgreSQL (query optimization, read replicas)
- Redis and message brokers (NATS/RabbitMQ/Kafka)
- Mentoring track record
- Architectural thinking: trade-offs, system-level perspective, ADRs
Nice to have:
- Nx monorepo experience
- Ansible, Terraform, or other IaC
- iGaming or fintech domain
- Distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry, Tempo)
- Financial transaction patterns (idempotency, reconciliation)
