Senior AI/ML Engineer (AI): Delivering end-to-end machine learning and agentic AI systems for international banking operations with an accent on MLOps, LLM orchestration, and RAG frameworks. Location: Must be based in Austria (hybrid), with 30 days/year remote work allowed from any EU country.

Salary: Starting at EUR 67,400 gross p.a.

What you will do

• Own use cases end-to-end from problem framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Design and deliver agentic AI solutions, including LLM orchestration, RAG, and tool integrations.
• Establish robust MLOps/LLMOps practices including CI/CD and cost management.
• Conduct rigorous evaluations such as backtesting, A/B testing, and drift detection.
• Collaborate with business partners to define requirements and support solution adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping production-grade ML/AI systems.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with Spark.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI/agentic AI (LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG) and classical ML.
• Strong understanding of MLOps fundamentals like MLflow, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Fluent English proficiency is required for professional communication.
• Capability to translate complex business problems into technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with the EU AI Act and model risk management.
• Knowledge of software engineering foundations including microservices and testing.
• Experience with Databricks and banking domain expertise.
• German language skills are considered an advantage.
