TL;DR

Signal/Strategic Planner (Defense): Developing and synchronizing communications and IT strategies to support command and control (C2) operations with an accent on technical architectures and interoperability. Focus on integrating enterprise and tactical communication systems, including satellite and wireless networks, to ensure secure mission execution.

Location: On-site in Kuwait

What you will do

  • Develop long-term signal and communications strategies aligned with operational and organizational objectives.
  • Plan and synchronize communications capabilities supporting command and control (C2) operations.
  • Translate operational requirements into technical communications architectures.
  • Integrate enterprise and tactical communication systems, including voice, data, satellite, and wireless networks.
  • Ensure interoperability between multiple communication platforms, networks, and mission systems.
  • Develop communications plans and annexes while coordinating with intelligence and logistics planners.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Secret
  • Certification: DoD 8570.01 M compliance for IAT Level III
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combatant command.
  • Extensive familiarity with FM 5-0, FM 6-0, JP 5-0 and other relevant military order publications.
  • Education: HS Diploma/GED.
