Transmission Engineer Lead

TL;DR

Transmission Engineer Lead (Telecommunications): Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of transmission systems for electrical power and telecommunications within the CENTCOM AOR with an accent on engineering studies and infrastructure reliability. Focus on conducting on-site surveys, troubleshooting RF baseband systems, and optimizing ground-to-satellite transmission networks.

What you will do

• Deliver engineering studies and recommendations for improvements to DoD and Army managed transmission networks within the CENTCOM AOR.
• Conduct on-site surveys to investigate deployment, resolve technical problems, and perform verification and validation.
• Collaborate with Government stakeholders to implement strategic transmission programs and projects.
• Provide technical expertise in timing, synchronization, and ground-to-satellite transmission systems.
• Troubleshoot radio frequency (RF) baseband transmission systems and perform path profiling.

Requirements

• Secret Security Clearance.
• DoD 8570.01 M compliance for IAT Level III.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT strategic DoD experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work on-site in Kuwait.
