TL;DR
Voice Systems/Network Engineer Lead (Network Engineering): Managing the planning, design, and operational oversight of Army voice communication systems across tactical and enterprise environments with an accent on secure infrastructure integration. Focus on transitioning traditional DSN/TDM networks to VoIP/VoSIP architectures while ensuring mission-critical reliability for command and control operations.
Location: Must be based in Kuwait (On-site)

What you will do
- Manage call routing and infrastructure from DISA Tier 0 down to strategic sites.
- Provide engineering, integration, and installation services for secure and non-secure voice systems.
- Plan and implement theater voice architecture upgrades including Gatekeepers, VGR, and CUCM.
- Maintain DSN networks, including T-1 and SIP trunks terminating at TDM switches and NATO PBXs.
- Coordinate with CENTCOM AOR stakeholders to support the transition from POTS to VoIP and VoSIP.
- Ensure compliance with USARCENT requirements for the protection and maintenance of voice networks.
Requirements
- Must hold an active Secret clearance.
- Must possess DoD 8570.01 M compliance for IAT Level III.
- Must hold a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration certification or higher.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a strategic DoD position engineering IT solutions for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CPN-X.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
