TL;DR

Director of Human Resources (HR): Developing and managing a people-centric HR infrastructure for a multi-state professional services organization with an accent on operational excellence and sustainable growth. Focus on scaling HR systems, implementing HRIS (ADP), and ensuring multi-state compliance.

Location: On-site in Danvers, MA; willingness to travel to other office locations is required.

Salary: $115,000 – $125,000

An independently owned and operated title and settlement firm serving the real estate community for over 30 years across the East Coast.

What you will do

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to ownership and executive leadership to strengthen people-centric infrastructure.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, hiring, workforce planning, and onboarding processes.
  • Oversee payroll processing and HRIS administration, including company-wide rollout and optimization of ADP.
  • Design and administer benefits plans, including 401k retirement plans and compensation strategies.
  • Develop and implement employee development programs, leadership coaching, and performance management initiatives.
  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures are compliant with laws and regulations across multiple states.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive HR experience with a strategic, hands-on approach.
  • Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Danvers, MA.
  • Proven experience leading HR systems integration and implementation, preferably with ADP.
  • Thorough knowledge of multi-state employment laws, compliance, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification.
