What you will do

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, third parties, and vendors to ensure alignment.
• Proactively identify risks and issues and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
• Manage and track project budgets, forecast resource needs, and provide financial reports to leadership.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and close out all administrative aspects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5 or more years of experience in project management or a similar role.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or Trello.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams.
• Deep understanding of the local Japanese market, regulatory environment, and business landscape.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
• Experience in the M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) or Data Centre industry.
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to lead and work within cross-functional teams.
