TL;DR

Senior Tools Programmer (C#/C++ / Game Dev): Maintaining and iterating on existing tools and editor features to optimize workflows for designers, artists, and programmers with an accent on usability and pipeline efficiency. Focus on designing new tools to improve quality of life and solving complex workflow bottlenecks in collaboration with engine programmers.

Location: Office first, hybrid solution possible. Must be eligible to work in Sweden

What you will do

  • Maintain and iterate on existing tools and editor features to ensure they meet project needs.
  • Design and develop new tools in collaboration with feature teams to increase overall quality of life.
  • Identify and resolve workflow issues and bottlenecks within production pipelines.
  • Cooperate with Engine Programmers to implement core engine features required for tool development.
  • Communicate and track the progress of tool implementation with content developers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical experience within the video games industry.
  • Proficiency in C# and C++.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Lua, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Proven experience creating game development tools that improve user experience and workflow.
  • Strong understanding of game engine and editor concepts.
  • Must be eligible to work in Sweden.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with WPF.
  • Experience with Chromium Embedded Framework.
  • Experience using TeamCity.
  • Familiarity with DCC tools like Maya, Blender, or Houdini.
