Salary: $123,600–$187,000 USD

• Create compelling tools and abilities that empower players in expressive, creative ways.
• Iterate on and polish core player movement and environmental systems.
• Design and implement encounters that offer robust, multi-approach gameplay sandboxes.
• Collaborate with animation, art, audio, VFX, and engineering teams to ensure responsive and impactful gameplay.
• Partner with design teams to foster emergent player behavior.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Proven track record designing and shipping gameplay elements for a live service game.
• Experience using level design tools to layout encounters in action-adventure titles.
• Strong hands-on implementation skills and a goal-driven design process.
• Fluency in how animation, audio, and visual effects contribute to gameplay feel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead within a team culture.

Nice to have

• Experience with third-person camera design for action games.
• Background in mobile games with real-time action.
• Unity game engine knowledge.
• Experience designing physics-based emergent gameplay.
• Familiarity with cross-platform game development.
