What you will do

• Drive the migration of legacy frontends into a modern React and TypeScript ecosystem to improve maintainability and performance.
• Expand and evolve a shared component library and design system used by multiple product teams.
• Build a centralized frontend portal from the ground up and establish seamless integration patterns.
• Design and deliver robust, scalable applications that provide measurable business value.
• Mentor other engineers, conduct code reviews, and shape overall engineering practices and standards.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with TypeScript and React.
• Solid fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building NodeJS services and designing/consuming RESTful APIs.
• Must have working rights for New Zealand.

Nice to have

• Experience working with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Git, AWS, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
