Senior Partnership Finance Officer (Finance)

Focus on building partner capacity in accounting systems, conducting capacity analyses, and coordinating financial flows between Finance and Partnerships Units.

Location: Based in Beirut, Lebanon with occasional travel to field offices in Zahle, Qobayat, and Tripoli

What you will do

• Manage and track partner budgets and financial reporting deliverables, flagging potential spending issues.
• Participate in Partner's Capacity Analysis (PCA) to collaboratively manage identified material risks.
• Review partner cash requests and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Support partners in building capacity in finance and accounting systems.
• Coordinate the close-out phase of partnership agreements and prepare audit documentation.
• Maintain the Finance Partnership Tracker and ensure the correctness of sub-award documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in grants management and working with local partners.
• Proven experience in finance and accounting.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fluid environment.
