Risk Intern (Fintech)

TL;DR

Risk Intern (Fintech): Identifying, monitoring, and managing risks for a global fintech with an accent on risk assessments and fraud prevention. Focus on gathering partner information, maintaining safety documentation, and collaborating with Compliance and Finance teams.

Location: Must be based in Gibraltar for the duration of the program (Physical attendance required for onboarding on July 6th and 7th)

What you will do

• Organize risk assessments and maintain up-to-date safety documentation.
• Gather and verify information to ensure partners and internal processes are secure.
• Monitor internal risk policies and ensure fraud prevention rules are strictly followed across the company.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Finance teams on projects protecting the company from financial and operational risks.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Maths, Law, or a similar field.
• Must be based in Gibraltar for the entire duration of the internship (July 6th to August 28th).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for collaborating and reporting red flags.
• Strong analytical skills and a "pattern-seeking eye" for data accuracy.
• Basic understanding of fraud prevention or data privacy regulations.

Nice to have

• Exposure to data analysis, business ethics, or financial principles.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks or audit processes.
• Experience with data visualization and creating basic charts.
