Online Tech Programmer Intern (Gamedev)

What you will do

• Build internal tooling for dynamic configuration management across live services.
• Develop, test, and maintain backend services in a zero-downtime environment.
• Implement instrumentation for monitoring and logging service health and availability.
• Collaborate with Online Infrastructure teams to learn Kubernetes and scalability best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and the full software development lifecycle for high-scale production.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Dutch school within a relevant field of study (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.).
• Foundational knowledge of Java and basic understanding of web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs).
• Comfort with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work on-site in the Amsterdam studio.
• Available for an internship starting September 1st, 2026.

Nice to have

• Interest in cloud platforms, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), or CI/CD concepts.
