What you will do

• Maintain and operate customer on-prem and cloud deployments, ensuring rapid troubleshooting and reliability.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters for scalable infrastructure.
• Implement and manage monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana to proactively resolve production issues.
• Develop scripts and automation for deployment, infrastructure management, and CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to plan, package, and roll out software updates.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for systems, processes, and tools.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in high-pressure production environments.
• Proven experience in Linux system administration, software packaging, and delivery.
• Solid understanding of Linux networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, proxies).
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Timezone requirement: Must be located within +/- 2 hours of CEST.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with virtualization solutions (QEMU/KVM) or micro-VMMs (Firecracker, Cloud-Hypervisor).
