What you will do

• Develop and enhance the functionality and user experience of the Android app across multiple hirify.global products.
• Contribute to shared components that enable efficient delivery of new features.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with other Android Engineers to define the future technical direction of the Android app.
• Continuously improve user experience, performance, and code quality.
• Contribute to higher-level initiatives such as CI/CD, release processes, and PR review guidelines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in native Android development for Mid level, or 5+ years for Senior level
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin, Compose, Hilt, and Coroutines
• Ability to build maintainable mobile applications using strong engineering practices and design patterns
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, clean code principles, and code quality standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to have

• Experience with RxJava and Dagger2
• Background in real-time data integrations, including WebSockets and SSE
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
