What you will do

• Design and implement security systems that integrate directly into the product development lifecycle.
• Partner with engineering teams to conduct threat modeling and provide architectural security guidance.
• Develop shared security libraries, frameworks, and automated checks for production systems.
• Lead strategic security initiatives, including AI security governance and automated design reviews.
• Set company-wide standards for secure development patterns and influence adoption across engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in application or product security.
• Strong proficiency in Python or Go for building production-grade systems.
• Proven ability to identify and address security risks in complex software environments.
• Technical leadership experience, guiding initiatives across teams without direct authority.
• Experience working in environments requiring high reliability and structured incident response.
• Must be able to work in the Menlo Park, CA office at least 3 days per week.
