What you will do

• Lead and develop a cross-functional team of software and systems engineers, including interns and contractors.
• Drive the design and delivery of compute platform tooling to improve visibility, efficiency, and lifecycle management.
• Contribute hands-on to system design, code reviews, and provide technical mentorship.
• Define the team roadmap and ensure accountability for delivery, reliability, and platform outcomes.
• Foster a culture of engineering quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Explore and integrate emerging technologies, including Generative AI, into management and engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in Bangkok, Thailand
• 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong hands-on coding experience in a modern language (Golang preferred).
• Proven experience with large-scale compute infrastructure (Kubernetes, OpenStack, bare metal, VMs).
• Experience with platform stability, observability, and modern CI/CD practices.
• English language proficiency required
• Demonstrated experience using Generative AI tools in engineering and management workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience building large-scale asset and inventory management systems.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible or AWX for configuration management.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals in large-scale environments.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.
