Product Safety Engineer

What you will do

• Create and update safety risk analyses for products and safety-critical systems.
• Ensure compliance with the EU Machinery Directive, ISO 12100, and ISO 13849 standards.
• Develop reliability and event models to support engineering decision-making.
• Provide expert safety guidance to sales, engineering, and service departments.
• Conduct and present technical compliance reviews for product safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve safety and technical compliance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience with product safety, technical compliance, or quality engineering.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Familiarity with global safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Budapest, Hungary.
• Ability to travel occasionally (up to 15% of working time).

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of German.
• Experience in energy or environmental regulatory sectors.
