TL;DR

Principal Designer (Ecommerce): Driving UX strategy and design solutions for hirify.global’s diverse product ecosystem with an accent on marketplace, fintech, and cryptoasset integration. Focus on designing unified customer journeys, identifying customer insights through ethnographic research, and leading product innovation from 0-1 to 100-1,000 phases.

Location: Must be based in the office in Roppongi, Tokyo

hirify.global is a massive product company aiming to circulate value and unleash individual potential through its marketplace, fintech, and cryptoasset platforms.

What you will do

  • Design and lead processes to identify customer insights from ethnographic research.
  • Communicate with leadership to drive the creation of a five-element UX model.
  • Oversee UX decisions for hirify.global’s business units in place of the CXO.
  • Collaborate with PMs and engineers to ensure proper product-market fit across all phases.
  • Act as a role model and help develop future talent as a leading figure.
  • Drive projects in all areas from business strategy to final delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in UI/UX design for apps or websites
  • Proficiency in Japanese (CEFR C1 level required)
  • English language proficiency (CEFR B2 level required)
  • Leadership skills and ability to drive projects in cross-functional teams
  • Deep familiarity with hirify.global’s services as a frequent user

Nice to have

  • Experience in people management or building design organizations
  • Experience working in an international English-speaking environment
