What you will do

• Architect and deploy ML models for dynamic incentive control and personalized targeting.
• Take direct accountability for business outcomes, including ROI, GMV, and LTV uplift.
• Partner with Growth, Marketing, and Product teams to translate business challenges into ML-driven frameworks.
• Develop reusable ML foundations for uplift modeling and elasticity estimation to scale growth initiatives.
• Iterate rapidly from prototype to production in a fast-paced, experiment-driven environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience applying machine learning to real, user-facing decisions in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong grasp of ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of statistics, experimental design, and causal reasoning.
• English language proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to backend engineering practices (microservices, Go, gRPC).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Japanese language.
