Salary: $225,000–$550,000

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy high-performance compute kernels to support long-context models.
• Optimize kernel performance for AI accelerators like NVIDIA Blackwell and Google TPUs.
• Collaborate with training, inference, and RL teams to co-design kernel architecture.
• Ensure functional correctness and production reliability through robust testing frameworks.
• Evaluate and integrate new hardware options to scale compute capabilities.
• Maintain a high standard of code generation and low-level machine optimization.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in low-level programming targeting AI accelerators (GPUs/TPUs).
• Deep expertise in computer architecture and kernel authoring frameworks such as NCCL, Triton, or Flash-Attention.
• Strong understanding of kernel optimization, machine learning systems, and code generation.
• Proven ability to work autonomously with an ownership-driven mindset.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the US.
• Professional fluency in English.
