What you will do

• Architect and deploy next-generation WAF, IDS, and IPS capabilities to protect gateways against sophisticated API abuse and zero-day threats.
• Design seamless Zero Trust security models across hybrid and multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Partner with product and architecture teams to define the long-term security roadmap for the API gateway and Konnect platform.
• Lead complex incident resolutions and high-stakes CVE remediations within open-source dependencies.
• Mentor engineering teams on secure coding practices to champion a Security-First culture across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering with a background in high-traffic infrastructure or API management.
• Expert-level knowledge of multi-cloud solution design and securing traffic within Kubernetes environments.
• Demonstrated experience in deploying signature-based and ML-based detection systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust for security automation and tooling.
• Proven ability to design high-performance security architectures that maintain minimal latency.
