What you will do
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for security operations within the Cloud.
- Architect next-generation WAF, IDS, and IPS capabilities to defend against sophisticated API abuse and zero-day exploits.
- Design Zero Trust security models across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem systems.
- Define the multi-year security roadmap in partnership with product and architecture leadership.
- Lead responses to critical security challenges, including supply chain vulnerabilities and CVE remediations.
- Mentor engineering teams on secure coding practices and cybersecurity maturity.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering focused on high-traffic infrastructure.
- Expertise in Gateway, Nginx, eBPF, or similar network technologies.
- Proven record in designing and deploying scalable WAF, IDS, and IPS systems.
- Deep understanding of multi-cloud architecture and Kubernetes security.
- Proficiency in programming with Python, Go, or Rust.
- Ability to design security features that maintain millisecond-latency performance.
