What you will do

• Develop and maintain proprietary end-to-end machine learning pipelines for trading strategies.
• Architect tools for market microstructure research and analyze key market features.
• Design and build robust portfolio optimization systems to support management strategies.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from research and coding to testing and deployment.
• Provide direct support for production trading environments and troubleshoot system issues.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and validation processes to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience solving challenging technical problems in industry or academia.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and/or C++.
• Ability to reason through complex quantitative problems and communicate effectively with research teams.
• Experience working with industrial-grade codebases.
• Must be able to work on-site in Hong Kong.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic mindset.

Nice to have

• Over two years of experience with compiled languages like C++ in professional codebases.
• Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
• Experience with distributed large-scale model training.
