What you will do

• Design and maintain sustainable, robust infrastructure and microservice solutions on Google Cloud.
• Automate infrastructure and development tools to reduce manual operational overhead.
• Analyze and optimize cluster resource usage including scaling and performance tuning.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability of production environments.
• Review design proposals and provide technical support to engineering teams.
• Develop core application components for internal platforms such as logging and authorization.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of production experience managing Kubernetes clusters at scale.
• Professional experience working with public cloud providers, preferably GCP.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Go for custom tool development.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Proficiency in CI/CD workflows, monitoring systems like Grafana/Prometheus, and Linux/container security.
• Ability to work within the Central Europe time zone and travel for company events.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in an on-call rotation.
• Active participation in DevOps and cloud-native technical conferences.
• Experience with advanced Kubernetes features like network policies, pod affinity, and custom resource optimization.
