What you will do

• Develop and optimize new and existing features for The Times and The Sunday Times iOS applications.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
• Contribute to technical strategy, tactical implementation, and architectural decisions.
• Perform thorough code reviews and maintain high standards for performance and security.
• Mentor and guide other engineers to foster continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Interact with product owners and stakeholders to align technical output with business goals.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Bulgaria
• Solid commercial experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Deep understanding of iOS design patterns, specifically MVVM+Coordinators.
• Expertise in building UIKit views programmatically without using XIBs or Storyboards.
• Proficiency in SOLID design principles and unit/UI automation testing (XCTest, XCUITest).
• Experience with build automation (Fastlane) and dependency management (Cocoapods, Swift Package Manager).

Nice to have

• Experience with Objective-C.
• Knowledge of React Native.
• Prior experience with CI/CD tools, specifically CircleCI.
• Previous team mentoring experience.
