What you will do

• Serve as the Incident Commander for high-severity cyber incidents including breaches, supply-chain attacks, and insider threats.
• Lead company-wide response efforts by coordinating technical, legal, communication, and executive stakeholders.
• Design and facilitate executive-level incident simulations and tabletop exercises.
• Translate technical findings into business impact analysis for senior leadership and board-level reporting.
• Continuously improve the incident response framework, including severity definitions and escalation paths.
• Define and track response metrics such as MTTD, MTTR, and blast radius.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on incident response management.
• Demonstrated experience acting as Incident Commander in at least 15 major security events over the last 5 years.
• Expertise in cloud and SaaS architectures, identity/access control, and infrastructure security.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal reporting lines during high-pressure situations.
• Experience in highly regulated environments like fintech, crypto, or payments.
• Strong background in forensics, threat hunting, or security engineering.

Nice to have

• Previous tenure at elite IR teams like Mandiant, Sygnia, CrowdStrike, or Unit 42.
• Experience supporting regulatory notifications and post-incident audits.
• Deep familiarity with NIST or ISO 27035 incident response frameworks.
