TL;DR
Senior Java Developer (Fintech): Building and maintaining an advanced in-house application suite for automated trading with an accent on microservices architecture and cloud-native solutions. Location: Must be based in Georgia, Serbia, Spain, Cyprus, or Poland (Remote or Hybrid in Kraków/Limassol). Relocation package available to Poland or Cyprus.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain advanced in-house applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement microservices architecture and cloud-native solutions.
- Lead incident management, production support, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate across technology teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct regular code reviews to ensure high standards.
- Analyze and optimize application performance and security practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java.
- Proven track record in designing microservices and cloud-native solutions.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, messaging, and REST API development.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like GitLab.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
Nice to have
- Python experience.
- Familiarity with the FIX Protocol.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience in front-office financial technology.
