Security Automation Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Belgrade, Warsaw, Lisbon, or Sofia (Onsite role)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain security automation services using Python.
• Build scalable tools to automate security and risk management processes across multiple departments.
• Integrate security checks and tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct technical security audits and identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop integrations with internal systems and third-party security tools.
• Troubleshoot and debug infrastructure, applications, and automation workflows.

Requirements

• English level: B2 or higher
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Bash/Shell scripting.
• Proven experience building automation services in security or risk management.
• Solid AWS knowledge including IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, and VPC.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git workflows.
• Understanding of Linux, Windows AD, and security frameworks like OWASP.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform/Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with cloud security tools like Prowler or ScoutSuite.
• Experience with Cloudflare or edge security solutions.
• Knowledge of large-scale logging pipelines.
