Location: Remote or hybrid (US). Must be based in the United States as this role is subject to US-based compensation and benefits.

Salary: $208,000 – $312,000 USD

What you will do

• Collaborate with creative leadership to define and uphold a cohesive visual vision for the game.
• Guide and elevate the work of the art team to maintain high craft quality standards.
• Develop milestones for the art team through clear direction and sustainable scoping.
• Weave art explorations into a cohesive visual guide to align the development team.
• Lead and manage relationships with external art contractors.
• Mentor and manage internal art team members to foster growth and empowerment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an Art Director role.
• At least one shipping title experience as an Art Director.
• Proven experience with game engine implementation.
• Demonstrable experience leading and empowering art teams through multiple project phases.
• Strong familiarity with the competitive gaming landscape.
• Ability to provide clear, consistent visual feedback.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Unreal Engine.
• Experience working on a live game (Game as a Service).
