TL;DR
Senior FX Artist (Feature Animation) (Houdini): Creating stylized visual effects for the Magic: The Gathering Netflix series with an accent on Houdini simulations, particle and fluid systems, and integration across Maya, Nuke, and Unreal workflows. Focus on designing complex dynamic effects, rendering and integrating FX, and taking ownership of challenging tasks independently or within a small team.
Location: Remote within a 2-hour time difference from Budapest, or hybrid in Budapest. Freelancers must be registered and eligible to invoice under Hungarian tax law.

What you will do
- Design and create stylized FX in Houdini.
- Simulate and render particle, fluid, and other dynamic systems.
- Integrate FX into Maya, Nuke, and Unreal workflows.
- Collaborate with supervisors and production.
- Own complex FX tasks independently or with a small team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an FX Artist.
- Proficiency in Houdini.
- Working knowledge of Unreal Engine, Maya, Arnold, and Nuke.
- Intermediate English communication skills.
- Freelancers must be able to invoice legally under Hungarian law.
