TL;DR
Databricks Data Engineer (AI): Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for enterprise-grade solutions with an accent on Databricks ecosystem integration and performance optimization. Location: Remote (Global). Must be based in Romania or able to work remotely as per company policy.

What you will do
- Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and performant data pipelines using Databricks.
- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints for data models and ETL processes.
- Support cross-functional data analysts and scientists with infrastructure and technical issues.
- Optimize data flow and collection to improve cross-team efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to data quality standards and security regulations.
- Collaborate on integration of complex data systems and pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering and pipeline architecture.
- Extensive proficiency in Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.
- Strong development skills in Python, Scala, and SQL.
- Experience with major cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and agile practices.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team environment.

- Active Databricks certification or in-progress certification.
