What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Airflow and Trino to ingest data from diverse sources.
• Implement monitoring, validation, and alerting systems to ensure high data quality and reliability.
• Deploy and maintain services within the AWS cloud environment.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture and Product teams to define data requirements and optimize delivery.
• Fine-tune queries, pipelines, and storage to improve system performance and cost-efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all data assets, models, and pipelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven hands-on experience with Airflow for workflow management.
• In-depth knowledge of OLAP databases and distributed query engines like Clickhouse, Trino, or Spark.
• Understanding of event-based data architectures and streaming technologies.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and IaC tools like Terraform or Kubernetes is a significant advantage.
