Head of Programmatic Outcomes (Product): Shaping the product-led growth strategy and in-product activation design to drive adoption of AI systems among knowledge workers with an accent on product telemetry and activation milestones. Focus on designing onboarding sequences and hypothesis-driven activation plays to convert seat activation into habitual use.
Location: San Francisco, CA. Currently, staff are expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
Salary: $315,000 - $350,000 USD

What you will do
- Drive the PLG activation strategy across Claude Teams, Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, and API.
- Co-design onboarding sequences, in-product nudges, and activation milestones with Product.
- Shape the product telemetry inputs to the Claude Control Tower.
- Partner with Product PMs to ensure the activation motion is built into the product.
- Develop and test hypothesis-driven activation plays across specific knowledge-worker use cases.
- Establish adoption benchmarks, population-level penetration metrics, and health indicators to track progress.
Requirements
- 8+ years in PLG, growth PM, product marketing, or CS strategy with direct ownership of activation or adoption metrics.
- Experience designing and running product-led onboarding or activation programs at enterprise SaaS or AI companies.
- Deep understanding of how product telemetry translates into adoption signals.
- Strong cross-functional fluency: you've worked embedded with Product teams while maintaining a GTM orientation and commercial accountability.
- Track record of building programmatic motions that generate scale across a large customer base.
- Real perspective on what drives knowledge workers to build habits around new tools, backed by experience.
