Security Operations Analyst

TL;DR

Security Operations Analyst: Monitoring and responding to security threats across cloud and on-prem environments with an accent on vulnerability management, incident response, and implementation of security controls. Focus on ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and related frameworks.

Location: Hybrid based in Denver, CO. Candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance, as this role requires on-site presence at least three days per week.

Salary: $60,000-$75,000

What you will do

• Monitor security events across on-premises and multi-cloud environments using SIEM/XDR tools.
• Triage, investigate, and escalate security incidents using automated workflows.
• Assess, remediate, or escalate vulnerabilities across cloud and on-prem assets.
• Implement security controls across hybrid environments, including cloud-specific configurations.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and related frameworks.
• Contribute to security initiatives such as cloud posture improvements and automation of incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years cybersecurity or IT, SOC exposure preferred
• Experience operating in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc).
• Familiarity with a SIEM & SOAR platform.
• Basic scripting experience; Python/PowerShell a plus.
• Awareness of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF).
