What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend architectures for data-intensive energy management systems.
• Lead high-profile technical projects from initial conception through to final delivery.
• Coordinate technical work across globally distributed engineering teams to ensure sustainable and impactful business results.
• Define and own the long-term health of key systems and core platform components.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Drive DevOps maturity by automating CI/CD pipelines and transforming manual workflows into efficient processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in designing and implementing scalable backend architecture.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Extensive experience with cloud-based architectures, deployment automation, and CI/CD best practices.
• Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional industry experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in the energy industry or with utility sector technologies.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, or advanced ETL data pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
