What you will do

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive compliance and AML/TF program.
• Review company policies and define procedures to ensure local regulatory compliance.
• Verify company adherence to KYC protocols and information requests from authorities.
• Coordinate with regulators during audits and manage reporting channels for compliance issues.
• Plan and oversee risk-related programs while conducting regular audits to identify weaknesses.
• Provide insights and sign off on new financial products to ensure alignment with local laws.

Requirements

• Must be physically present in El Salvador.
• Proven experience in developing and managing compliance programs within the financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of AML/TF regulations, KYC procedures, and financial auditing processes.
• Ability to interpret complex legal requirements and translate them into actionable operational policies.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage compliance risks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively coordinate with regulators and prepare documentation for official inquiries.
