What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for Ethernet hardware (switches, PHYs, microcontrollers).
• Perform interoperability testing to ensure seamless communication across various Ethernet devices.
• Analyze network performance, identifying bottlenecks, latency, and compliance issues.
• Build test scripts and automation tools to increase validation efficiency.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to resolve complex system issues.
• Lead validation projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architecture design reviews.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in validating Ethernet systems.
• Deep expertise in Ethernet standards such as IEEE 802.3 and related protocols.
• Proficiency in creating test strategies, test plans, and utilizing automation tools.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for network performance analysis.
• Experience in conducting interoperability testing across multi-vendor environments.
• Solid understanding of Ethernet hardware including routers, NICs, and cabling.
