Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote work available for candidates legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain

What you will do

• Own and evolve multi-cloud infrastructure and the Infrastructure-as-Code stack using Terraform and Terramate.
• Operate data and application platforms, including PostgreSQL/Aurora, event pipelines, asynchronous workloads, and database migration tooling.
• Improve reliability, observability, uptime and latency SLOs, incident response, and sustainable on-call practices using tools such as Datadog and Incident.io.
• Build governance, IAM, backup, disaster recovery, infrastructure cost management, and FinOps automation.
• Develop reusable internal tooling, APIs, command-line interfaces, developer portals, and configuration-as-code for product engineers.
• Introduce AI assistants for incident investigation, troubleshooting, runbook execution, and toil reduction.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, or equivalent roles.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS or GCP.
• Ability to write automation and tooling code and willingness to work with Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, alerting, incident management, infrastructure reliability, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience building and operating internal or external tooling for engineers.
• Fluent English is required; French is not required. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, Redis, Cloudflare, GitHub Actions, Datadog, or Incident.io.
• Experience scaling service architectures and supporting international expansion.
