What you will do

• Build and deploy ML models to protect customers from fraudulent activities.
• Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem definition to production.
• Monitor, maintain, and retrain ML models to ensure high accuracy.
• Engineer and test new features for fraud prediction.
• Communicate conceptual designs and risk controls to stakeholders.
• Maintain engineering platforms to ensure compliance and scalability.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master or Doctorate) in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer in the financial sector.
• 2+ years of specific experience in the fraud-related problem space.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Expertise in the end-to-end ML process including deployment and monitoring.
• Ability to work effectively in a global environment with international collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience in payment-related businesses such as BNPL or credit cards.
• Technical experience with Gen AI, Graph Networks, or Behavioral Biometrics.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulation regarding data privacy.
• Experience mentoring junior data scientists.
