What you will do

• Develop backend software and tools for 3D animated movie production.
• Design and adapt pipeline architecture to meet production challenges.
• Create plugins, scripts, and GUIs to automate artist workflows.
• Collaborate with artists to gather requirements and design new features.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and evolve existing production systems.
• Document and present new internal tools and pipeline developments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pipeline development experience in a CG production environment.
• Proficiency in Python and Qt.
• Experience developing plugins for Maya, Nuke, Arnold, or Houdini.
• Expertise in debugging and extending complex production tools.
• High level of English proficiency is required.
• Must be registered as a sole proprietor/entrepreneur or self-employed for freelance contracts.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ development.
• Experience developing for Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with the Rez package management system.
• Experience with CICD pipelines in GitHub or GitLab.
