TL;DR

Intern Software Engineer (Embedded): Designing, developing, and testing components for the MCUXpresso IDE with an accent on web-based tool integration for microcontroller development. Focus on building modern front-end features, optimizing user workflows in VSCode, and integrating dedicated NXP services via Web APIs.

Location: Must be based in Bucharest, Romania with a valid visa and work permit. Hybrid work policy available.

What you will do

Design, develop, and test functionality for the MCUXpresso IDE.
Enhance existing product features based on customer design and debugging needs.
Collaborate with a multinational team of embedded high-performance computing experts.
Work on front-end integration using web technologies to modernize tool interfaces.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronics.
Must possess a valid visa and work permit to work in Romania.
Good understanding of client Web UI design principles and HTML/CSS development.
Fluency with Git.
Team spirit and eagerness to learn from technical experts.
Good command of the English language.

Nice to have

Experience with Chromium, Visual Studio, or VSCode extension development.
Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
