What you will do

  • Serve as strategic partner to the CEO, overseeing cross-functional execution and operational strategy.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to payments performance, chargeback rates, and platform uptime.
  • Lead company-wide cost optimization and financial management initiatives, including vendor negotiations.
  • Oversee complex projects such as payment method expansions, compliance programs, and platform integrations.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to guide roadmaps for checkout and payments infrastructure.
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of operational leadership experience with at least 5 years in a senior executive role in fintech or payments.
  • Must be based in the EU or UK.
  • Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, acquiring, processing, and financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS).
  • Proven expertise in cost optimization, financial analysis, and unit economics.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools for productivity and building agent-based automated workflows (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven approach to complex problem-solving.
