Engineering Manager - Frontend

TL;DR

What you will do

• Lead and support a team of frontend engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Shape the frontend strategy, aligning technical direction with business goals.
• Take ownership of delivery outcomes, working closely with product and stakeholder teams.
• Champion engineering excellence, encouraging best practices and building scalable frontend solutions.
• Empower engineers through coaching and mentorship, creating space for autonomy and growth.
• Explore and introduce innovative technologies, including AI and LLMs, to enhance user and developer experiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership or management role within engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams while contributing technically.
• Solid experience with modern engineering practices, including Agile and DevOps principles.
• Background in mobile or cross-platform development, such as React Native.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js and/or broader full-stack development.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning or LLM integrations within digital products.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Python or infrastructure tools like Terraform.
• Experience working within fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Knowledge of microservices or serverless architectures.
