What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a team of experienced incident responders, fostering a culture of security and resilience.
  • Serve as a hands-on leader during incidents, making decisions under pressure and collaborating across teams.
  • Ensure the team is triaging alerts and signals in hirify.global Cloud SIEM consistently.
  • Build tools, systems, and processes to mature hirify.global's security incident response capabilities.
  • Lead post-incident analysis efforts, ensuring blameless and actionable postmortems.
  • Partner with hirify.global’s product management team by providing feedback on features.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience as a people manager or technical leader with mentorship skills.
  • 3-5 years experience working in incident response teams and large-scale incident response programs.
  • Technical pragmatism and ability to help the team reason about trade-offs around implementation.
  • Strong distributed systems knowledge.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and communication skills in English to work remotely with people across teams.
