TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Taipei, Taiwan for an on-site 12-week residency

Salary: $8,000 per month

hirify.global is an venture studio that builds and launches AI-powered companies alongside teams like that of Andrew Ng.

What you will do

  • Build and validate the MedBuddy product from the ground up alongside the internal builder team.
  • Architect and implement scalable AI-powered backend systems.
  • Write code ranging from rapid prototypes to production-ready scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to refine product features for aging populations.
  • Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development cycles.

Requirements

  • Strong backend development skills with Python
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
  • Proven experience architecting and deploying scalable AI systems
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English
  • Ability to work on-site in Taipei for a 12-week residency
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code

Nice to have

  • Experience building consumer health or medication management products
  • Knowledge of health data privacy frameworks such as HIPAA or Taiwan PDPA
  • Experience with conversational UI design or accessibility for elderly populations
  • Familiarity with computer vision for medication identification
  • Experience integrating with messaging platforms like LINE or WhatsApp
