TL;DR
Customer Solutions Design Specialist (Networking): Designing and implementing complex voice, network, and security solutions with an accent on post-sale low-level design and technical leadership. Focus on bridging business requirements with technical delivery for high-scale enterprise infrastructure and leading technical teams toward successful project completion.
Location: Must be based in the UK, with a 3 days/week office attendance requirement in Birmingham

What you will do
- Collaborate with customers to translate technical requirements into detailed solution designs.
- Lead the technical direction of projects and ensure alignment with best practices.
- Manage end-to-end solution design engagements, including SOW creation and third-party coordination.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders to provide expert service design guidance.
- Resolve complex service challenges and conduct root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and manage project risks.
Requirements
- Must hold or be able to achieve SC-level Security Clearance.
- Professional or expert-level industry accreditation such as Cisco CCNP or CCIE.
- Strong experience in enterprise or service provider networking (WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi).
- Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), MPLS, and LAN technologies.
- Experience in pre-sales activities and creating high-quality technical proposals.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to lead virtual teams in a global environment.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, specifically Fortinet.
- Experience with load balancing, security infrastructure, and WAN optimization.
- Ability to interpret outputs from network management and diagnostic tools.
