What you will do

• Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and programs for testing.
• Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
• Plan, configure, and maintain appropriate test environment, including hardware components, cabling, and network connectivity.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the software development cycle.
• Experience with black-box/unit testing
• Experience with Jira (Defect tracking system)
• Very strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience writing scripts
• Ability to independently research, learn, and apply newfound knowledge to your work

Nice to have

• Experience with high-level programming/scripting languages such as Python, C++, C# is an asset
• Experience with network protocols or network support/engineering is an asset.
• Experience in set-up and configuration of electronic/computer hardware is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
