What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced animation behavior tools and techniques.
• Develop and optimize complex movement systems for high-quality gameplay experiences.
• Collaborate with technical art leads to improve cinematics, asset integration, and performance optimization.
• Automate asset workflows and pipeline processes using scripting languages like LUA, Python, or JavaScript.
• Mentor and guide junior technical animators to foster team growth.
• Maintain project documentation and facilitate cross-disciplinary communication.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Manizales, Colombia.
• 4+ years of industry experience in game development as a technical animator.
• Proven track record with at least two shipped AAA titles.
• Strong proficiency in industry-standard tools: Maya, 3DS Max, or MotionBuilder.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python, LUA, or JavaScript.
• Portfolio demonstrating technical animation solutions and asset implementation.

• Deep experience with modern game engines like Unreal Engine 4/5 or Unity.
