Location: Remote, but preference is for someone who can commute to Wayne, NJ, as needed.

Salary: $21 - $23 / hr

What you will do

• Assist in drafting and editing internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and intranet content.
• Support external communications efforts such as press releases, social media content, corporate website updates, and marketing materials.
• Conduct background research to support messaging, campaigns, and communication planning.
• Assist in content gathering and storytelling initiatives across the business, including employee spotlights and product innovation updates.
• Partner with HR, Marketing, and other internal teams to support communications requests and ensure message consistency.
• Monitor media coverage, compile analytics, and support reporting on communications performance.

Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
• Understanding of how to create storytelling content for social media, primarily LinkedIn.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Interest in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or highly regulated industries.

Nice to have

• Understanding and experience with managing video editing for platforms like Youtube.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) or intranet publishing tools.
• Basic design capability using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of media monitoring platforms or analytics dashboards (e.g., Meltwater, Sprout Social).
